Start your adventure here!

Are you curious what is hidden in the F.O.H.G?  Then you have come to the right place.  The first adventure is a self contained, print-and-play game book that is available for free right here.   You don't need to know any rules or have any prior knowledge before playing.  All you need is to print the book, and scrounge up some six sided dice (four of them to be exact) and a handful of pennies.  Everything else you need is included.

Click on the button below to download the PDF.

Then, be sure to print the book! Looking at it on a computer screen does not work.

Print instructions: The book should be printed double sided,  with 2 pages laid out as single scene.  Printing in color is better, but black and white is fine. Full printing instructions are included in the pdf.

Print and play contest:

FAQ

What is this? It's a book. It's a game. It's both!  It's a little different than almost anything else you have seen before. But, if you have ever played a choose-your-own-path style book, you will recognize the basic structure. If you have ever played a Role Playing Game, you will recognize some elements from their too.   It's much easier to play it for yourself and find out than it is to describe here.

Do I need to be a gamer nerd to do this?  NO!!  This is made specifically for people who like adventures and interactive stories, but maybe have been intimidated by large price tags on printed RPG's, or dislike the idea of reading long rulebooks before you can start.

I like it, is there more?  It's on the way!  This is just the first, small taste of a much larger game to come.  Please sign up below to get notified about the progress of the next big adventure.

What is the setting / story?  It's best to find out as you go, but the basic setting is an alternate world where technology stopped progressing around the year 1900.  Why? that's one of big mysteries you will discover and even influence as you progress through adventures.
